1. A vacuum cleaner of small size, comprising a housing (1) with an electric motor (4) installed therein, which drives a suction turbine (11) which draws in the suction air through one or more suction slots (27) arranged in the housing (1), wherein a pair of contradirectionally driven brushes (32, 33) is arranged in the area of the suction slots (27), which carries the dirt in the direction towards the suction slots (27) and conveys it to a dust bag (21), characterised in that in the longitudinal direction of the housing several suction slots (27) spaced apart one behind another and extending transversely to the longitudinal direction of the housing (1) are arranged with a corresponding number of pairs of brushes and that the suction slots (27) and the pairs of brushes are produced in a divided manner and in each case form suction apertures (40, 41) spaced apart symmetrically with respect to the central longitudinal axis of the housing (1), with a pair of brushes (32, 33) associated with each.

Der Staubsauger in Kleinformat besteht aus einem Gehäuse (1) mit darin angeordnetem elektrischen Motor (4), der eine Saugturbine (11) antreibt, welche die Saugluft durch ein oder mehrere am Gehäuse angeordnete Ansaugschlitze (27) ansaugt und durch einen Staubsack (21) bläst, in dem sich der mit Saugluft mitgeführte Schmutz absetzt. Zur Verbesserung der Reinigungswirkung ist vorgesehen, daß der Motor netzbetrieben wird und daß im Bereich der Ansaugschlitze drehend angetriebene Bürsten (32, 33) angeordnet sind, welche den Schmutz von der zu reinigenden Fläche aufnehmen und in Richtung auf die Ansaugschlitze transportieren.
