Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0251413A2] The invention relates to a device (27, 28) for mutual electrical contact between electrical and/or electromechanical assemblies (2, 17) in housings (1) of electrical equipment, such as car radios, video- or audio-recorders and data terminals, such as printers. The device is preferably used at contact points between these assemblies (2, 17) where access is difficult. The first assembly has components (8, 10) which must be connected to the second assembly (17). The connection is made via flexible leads (39) of the first assembly (2). Plug-in elements (41, 45) are used for the connection. A plug-in element (41) of the first assembly (2) is arranged on a holder (33) extending into a more easily accessible region of the housing (1). This holder (33) can be clamped in a detachable manner to a support (29) of the first assembly (2) such that this plug-in element (41) can be inserted into the plug-in element (45) of the second assembly (17) when the holder (33) is pressed back and comes free from the support (29). <IMAGE>
