[origin: US4829976A] The invention relates to a cutting tool constituted by an elongated body having a first end and a second end, and being provided at each of these ends with means such as a screw thread for removably fixing a holding member or handle, and at its first end with a first cutting point. The second end is equipped with a second cutting point. The invention is applied to the production of a tool for cutting earthenware tiles.

L'invention est relative à un outil de coupe constitué par un corps alongé (1) comportant une première (3) et une deuxième (4) extrémité et muni, à chacune de ses extrémités (7, 8), d'un dispositif de fixation amovible, tel qu'un filetage, d'une poignée de préhension (9), et, à ladite première extréité (3), d'une première pointe de coupe (5). La deuxième extrémité (4) est elle-même munie d'une deuxième pointe de coupe (6). Une application est la réalisation d'un outil de coupe de carreaux de faïence.
