[origin: EP0251909A1] The connection element comprises a connection element body made of insulating material, comprising a connection chamber itself provided with a conductive stirrup which is moveable in translation along one direction of the longitudinal axis of the connection element body (1). A connection channel (100) permits insertion of a cable to be connected into the connection chamber and into an orifice (1010) of the stirrup (101). Driving means (2) permit entrainment and translational blocking of the stirrup (101), in relation to the connection chamber (10), in such a manner as to ensure the electrical contact and the mechanical retention of the cable on a flexible strip (102) which is itself fixed in relation to the connection chamber (10).
