Eine fahrbare Bodenreinigungsmaschine mit einem drehend angetriebenen, im wesentlichen scheibenförmigen Arbeitswerkzeug (1), insbesondere einer Reinigungsbürste, das lösbar an einem mit der Welle (20) des Antriebsmotors (19) gekoppelten Werkzeughalter (14) befestigt ist, weist ein zwischen einer Freigabestellung und einer Arretierstellung bewegbares Arretierelement (30) auf, das in der Arretierstellung eine Verdrehung des Werkzeughalters verhindernd in Eingriff mit einem Anschlag am Werkzeughalter kommt und in der Freigabestellung außer Eingriff mit dem Werkzeughalter steht.
