Abstract (en)

[origin: WO8605422A1] The system is used for the automated working of metal sheets. The latter are placed in stacks (7) on pallets (6) and transferred to a pallet store (4) in the form of a high rack, assigned to each working machine (1). Between this pallet store (4) and the working machine is a conveyor device (9) which is movable up and down, which receives each pallet (6) together with a sheet metal stack (7) or gives back an empty pallet (6). This conveyor device (9) contains an individual separation device (11), for example in the form of suction heads (20) which lift the upper sheet, place it on a sheet support table (23) and from there bring it to the working machine. In order to make it easier to separate the sheets from one another, magnets (18) are arranged in such a way that through their influence they separate the forward parts of the sheets from each other.
