[origin: EP0252341A2] The sieving centrifuge, in particular a sugar centrifuge, has two spinning drums mounted one above the other. The spinning drums are mounted with intervening spacing tube on a centrifuge shaft which is driven from the top. To transfer the mashed sugar discharged from the upper spinning drum, a channel with a pipe is provided with which the mashed filling material is introduced into the accelerating device of the lower drum. Double spinning according to the invention results in a double centrifuge output with very small floor area requirement.
