The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for the folded connection of a tube or the like, if necessary of large diameter, having a tube end and a tube wall, to a closure plate in the form of a cover or the like, in particular of a closure plate having a curved closure plate, the tube and/or the closure plate preferably consisting of a highly alloyed or stainless steel, a folded edge furthermore being formed on the closure plate such that it grips over the tube wall on the outside, such that the folded edge is then provided with a fold-in and finally is folded into the tube wall from outside. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur gefalzten oder gebördelten Verbindung eines ein Rohrende und eine Rohrwand aufweisenden Rohres od. dgl., ggf. großen Durchmessers, mit einem Abschlußteil in Form eines Deckels od. dgl., insbesondere eines Abschlußteils mit einem gekrümmten Anschlußteil, wobei vorzugsweise das Rohr und/oder das Abschlußteil aus einem hochlegierten oder rostfreien Stahl besteht, wobei weiterin an dem Abschlußteil ein Falzrand so ausgeformt wird, daß er die Rohrwand außen übergreift, daß der Falzrand dann mit einer Einfaltung versehen wird und schließlich in die Rohrwand von außen eingefalzt wird.
