Abstract (en)
Aramid cable of high bending strength comprising a core (1) about which are stranded synthetic threads covered by a sheath (5). According to the invention, the synthetic threads (2, 3, 4) are aramid threads core-impregnated by a resin (8) with a high abrasion resistance and a low friction coefficient. Applications: handling cables which have to undergo a high number of alternating bendings. <IMAGE>

Câble aramide à haute résistance en flexion comprenant une âme (1) autour de laquelle sont toronnés des fils synthétiques revétus par une gaine (5). Selon l'invention, les fils synthétiques (2,3,4) sont des fils aramides imprégnés à coeur par une résine (8) à haute résistance à l'abrasion et à faible coefficient de frottement. Applications : Câbles de manutention devant subir un grand nombre de flexions alternées.
