[origin: WO8605305A1] Programmable circuit for the control of a liquid crystal indicator (LCD controller), with intermediate drive stages as required, for two BUS patterns, of which one serves for data exchange with a computer, through the other there is data exchange with at least one addressable memory, allocated to the LCD. Both BUS patterns, consisting of address, data and control lines, are developed as complete and parallel BUS patterns, which under a given state of connections of the control circuit and, as the case may be, in response to an appropriate additional signal from the computer, are connected together in such a way as to permit an exchange of data between the memory connected to the LCD and the computer.

Un circuit programmable de commande d'un affichage à cristaux liquides (contrôleur d'ACL) comprend le cas échéant des étages intermédiaires de commande de deux structures de bus, dont la première échange des données avec un ordinateur et dont la deuxième échange des données avec au moins une mémoire adressable subordonnée à l'affichage à cristaux liquides (ACL). Les deux structures de bus forment des structures de bus complètes et parallèles, comprenant des lignes d'adressage, de données et de commande. Elles sont connectées dans un état prédéterminé de commutation du circuit de commande et, le cas échéant, lorsqu'un signal correspondant additionnel est fourni par l'ordinateur, de sorte que la mémoire subordonnée à l'affichage à cristaux liquides et l'ordinateur puissent échanger des données.
