Abstract (en)
A display (12) comprises a curtain carrying a series of visual messages, stretched between two rollers (5, 9) around which it is wound, the rollers being rotatably mounted in parallel in a frame (1), and a synchronous drive mechanism (18) for the two rollers. The drive mechanism comprises a toothed belt or chain (21) driven by a motor (19) and interacting with a first toothed pulley (22) which is keyed in rotation on the first roller (5) and a second toothed pulley (23) mounted idly on the second roller (9) to which it is connected by elastic means (25) which compensate the curtain tension as a function of the varying diameter of the roller caused by the winding of the curtain. <IMAGE>

Un afficheur à bande (12) comprend une bande portant une série d'informations visuelles et tendue entre deux rouleaux (5, 9) sur lesquels elle s'enroule, les rouleaux étant montés parallèles à rotation dans un châssis (1), et un mécanisme d'entraînement synchrone (18) des deux rouleaux. Le mécanisme d'entraînement comprend une courroie crantée ou chaîne (21) entraînée par un moteur (19) et coopérant avec une première poulie dentée (22) calée en rotation sur le premier rouleau (5) et une deuxième poulie dentée (23) montée folle sur le second rouleau (9) et reliée à celui-ci par des moyens élastiques (25) de compensation de la tension de la bande en fonction de la variation du diamètre du rouleau résultant de l'enroulement de la bande.
