The workpieces concerned are of stone or stone-like material. A work holder has a plurality of pairs of clamping arms arranged diametrically about a common horizontal axis, preferably in a dual configuration, which are mounted in such a way as to rotate together in a cycled manner and are in connection with a sequence processor, the pairs of clamping arms in each case being assigned clamping devices. The work holder is designed as a milling bridge which can move horizontally between two end points. The planes of the millers are assigned in a cycled manner in each case two neighbouring pairs of clamping arms. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Fräsen von Werkstücken aus Stein oder steinähnlichem Material. Eine Werkstückaufnahme weist mehrere diametral um eine gemeinsame horizontale Achse angeordnete Klemmarmpaare, vorzugsweise in doppelter Ausführung, auf, die gemeinsam taktweise drehbar gelagert sind und in Verbindung mit einem Schrittschaltwerk stehen, wobei den Klemmarmpaaren jeweils Spanneinrichtungen zugeordnet sind. Die Werkzeugaufnahme ist als zwischen zwei Endpunkten horizontal bewegliche Fräsbrücke ausgebildet. Den Ebenen der Fräser sind jeweils zwei benachbarte Klemmarmpaare taktweise zugeordnet.
