The invention describes an attachment for fluorescent lamps, so- called economy lamps, with U-shaped bent short fluorescent tubes located close by one another, which are arranged in a base which consists of a spherical or approximately spherical glass body having a neck-shaped projection with a retaining device which latches onto a step or a notch on the base of the economy lamp. This attachment in the simplest case is the bulb of a so-called globe lamp or of a reflector lamp or is constructed like the bulb of a globe lamp or of a reflector lamp. <IMAGE>

Beschrieben wird ein Aufsatz für Leuchtstofflampen, sogenannte Sparlampen, mit U-förmig gebogenen, dicht beieinanderliegenden kurzen Leuchtstoffröhren, die in einem Sockel angeordnet sind, der aus einem kugelförmigen oder annähernd kugelförmigen Glaskörper besteht, welcher einen halsförmigen Ansatz mit einer Haltevorrichtung trägt, die an einer Abstufung oder einer Raste des Sockels der Sparlampe einrastet. Dieser Aufsatz ist im einfachsten Falle der Kolben einer sogenannten Globelampe bzw. einer Reflektorlampe oder wird wie der Kolben einer Globelampe oder einer Reflektorlampe ausgebildet.
