Abstract (en)
Sulfur is removed from a hydrocarbon feedstream to a catalytic reformer by contacting the feedstream with a sulfur sorbent comprising a metal component containing a metal selected from Group I-A or Group II-A of the Periodic Table supported on a porous refractory inorganic oxide support.
