The portable package is made of a single-piece blank of foldable material and has an essentially cuboid bottom box construction which is open only at the top for the insertion and removal of articles, in particular bottles. It consists of a bottom (9), two opposite longitudinal side walls (1, 2) and two likewise opposite narrow side walls (3, 4), the latter being extended upwards to form a carrying construction which has a carrying web which extends essentially centrally between the longitudinal side walls and above and parallel to the latter and which has a grip opening (17) approximately in the centre. The foldable material is of double-layer structure over the entire length of the carrying web and the two adjacent connection areas. Said double-layer foldable material (12, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20) is bonded together at least in places (22). <IMAGE>

Trageverpackung aus einem einstückigen Zuschnitt aus Faltmaterial mit einer im wesentlichen quaderförmigen unteren Kastenkonstruktion, die zum Einsetzen und Entnehmen von Artikeln, insbesondere Flaschen, nur nach oben offen ist und die aus einem Boden (9), zwei einander gegenüberliegenden Längs-Seitenwänden (l,2) und zwei ebenfalls einander gegenüberliegenden Schmal-Seitenwänden (3,4) besteht, wobei die Schmal-Seitenwände nach oben zu einer Tragkonstruktion verlängert sind, die einen Tragsteg aufweist, der im wesentlichen mittig zwischen den Längs-Seitenwänden und über sowie parallel zu diesen verläuft und der etwa in seiner Mitte eine Grifföffnung (l7) hat, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Faltmaterial über die gesamte Länge des Tragstegs sowie die beiden angrenzenden Verbindungsfelder doppellagig ist und daß dieses doppellagige Faltmaterial (l2,l4,l5,l6,l8,l9,20) zumindest stellenweise (22) miteinander verklebt ist.
