[origin: EP0254887A2] The brush, scrubber, window wiper or the like has a holding member (1), to the underside (3) or lateral regions (13) of which a bristle arrangement (15) or the like is fastened. The holding member (1) has a hollow chamber (9) extending over its length and opened in the region of the upper side (2) by a continuous slot (4). To fasten a handle (5) a clamping piece (6), which is cross-sectionally at least partly adapted to the hollow chamber (9) and is connected to the handle (5) by a threaded spigot (8) passing through the slot (4), is provided. Consequently, on the one hand a particularly simple and easy construction of the holding member (1) and on the other hand a particularly simple fastening of the handle (5) at any desired point on the holding member (1) is achieved. <IMAGE>
