The ribs (9, 10) are held together by linking elements (17, 18, 19) in such a way that the transverse ribs (9, 10) are rotatable in relation to one another around horizontal axes and that the linking elements (17, 18, 19) consist of the membrane-type hinges (24) which cross over the intermediate spaces (11, 12, 13), with rotation-limiting elements (26, 27), whereby the seat (3), together with the back support (5) and the latter together with the transverse ribs (9, 10) are moulded in one piece from plastic by means of yielding cross-sections formed by the membrane-type hinges (24) and spring elements (25) relating thereto.
