Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0256304A1] 1. Earthworks machine comprising two jaws (3) articulated on a frame (1), each jaw being articulated on two axles whose one is movable with regard to the frame and the other is fixed with regard to the frame, characterized by the fact that each jaw is carried by a main arm (4), this being articulated by one of its ends on the jaw and by a garniture (6), interdependant with its other end, on the fixed transversal axle (7) interdependant with the frame, in such a way that each jaw is pivotably mounted simultaneously around this fixed axle (7) and on itself around the movable axle (a) situated at the end of the main arm and movable according to an arch of circle whose center corresponds to said fixed axle ; by the fact that a secondary arm (8) is articulated by one of its ends on each jaw and cooperates by its other end with a single control hydraulic jack (14) ; by the fact that it comprises two straight rods (11, 13) articulated the one on the other by one of their ends according to an articulation transversal axis (12), one (11) of these rods being articulated by its other end onto the end of said secondary arm (8) and the other rod being also articulated by its other end on a garniture (6') interdependant with the fixed axle (7) ; and by the fact that the single control jack (14) is longitudinally mounted with regard to the frame (1), between the two articulation transversal axes (12) of the two articulated rods (11, 13) at the end of the secondary arm (8) of each jaw (3), in such a way that said single jack controls both jaws.
