Abstract (en)
To fight an armoured target, a preparatory projectile (12) is fired against the same target area shortly before firing a hollow-charge projectile (13) from the same gun (10). The preparatory projectile (12) removes any jet-destroying outside armour of the target so that the hollow-charge jet of the hollow-charge projectile impinges on the exposed main armour. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Zur Bekämpfung eines gepanzerten Zieles wird kurz vor dem Abschuß eines Hohlladungsgeschosses (13) aus demselben Geschütz (10) ein Vorbereitungsgeschoß (12) auf denselben Zielbereich abgefeuert. Das Vorbereitungsgeschoß (12) räumt eine etwaige strahlzerstörende Vorpanzerung des Zieles ab, so daß der Hohlladungsstrahl des Hohlladungsgeschosses auf die freiliegende Hauptpanzerung trifft.
