[origin: US4829640A] A yarn texturizing nozzle is disclosed which has two confronting sections that are separable along a separating plane projecting through and longitudinally of a yarn duct that extends through the nozzle and that is supplied with a pressurized fluid such as hot air. A piston within a cavity of one of the nozzle sections is biased by the pressure of fluid within such cavity into abutting engagement with the confronting surface of the other of the nozzle sections. The piston is so designed as to deform, under the force of such engagement, sufficiently as to conform to any unevenness of the confronting surface of the other nozzle section, and so as to minimize fluid leakage at the interface of the nozzle sections.

Düsen zum Erhitzen eines laufenden Fadens werden z.B. verwandt beim Stauchkammer-Texturieren synthetischer Fäden. Dabei sind die Düsen in einer Trennebene so geteilt, daß der Fadenkanal geöffnet werden kann. Hierzu ist erforderlich, daß die beiden Hälften 1, 2 der Düse fest aufeinandergepreßt werden können. Diese Andrückung erfolgt durch ein Druckmedium, das auf die Rückseite einer der Düsenhälften einwirkt. Um niedrige Drücke zu ermöglichen, andererseits aber auch ständige Dichtheit zu bewirken, ist die eine Düsenhälfte aus einem Führungskörper 4 mit einem Zylinderraum 7 und einem Kolben 5 aufgebaut, der in dem Zylinderraum beweglich ist. Dabei ist der Kolben durch Längs- und/oder Quernuten auf seiner Rückseite vielfach geschwächt, so daß er sich Unebenheiten in der Trennebene auch bei nur geringen Druckkräften anpassen kann. Die Dichtung wird durch eine Membran (17) auf der Rückseite des Kolbens und eine im Spalt zwischen Membran und Zylinderraum (7) umlaufende Dichtung (18) bewirkt.
