[origin: US4791158A] Thermoplastic molding materials contain, as essential components, (A) from 10 to 89.99% by weight of a polyester, (B) from 10 to 89.99% by weight of a polycarbonate and (C1) from 0.01 to 1% by weight of a low molecular weight organic compound of not more than 70 carbon atoms which contains (-SO3)mQ groups where Q is hydrogen, NH4 or an alkali or alkaline earth metal and m is an integer equal to the valency of Q, and/or (C2) from 0.01 to 30% by weight of a polymer containing sulfo groups and having a weight average molecular weight of not less than 1000, and, as a further component, (D) from 0 to 30% by weight of a rubber impact modifier.
