[origin: EP0256497A2] The bottle carrier is made of a single-part cardboard blank having recesses, in which the bottles engage with their tops and are supported by a bead. An annular collar, which is sealed in an adhesive seam, surrounds the shoulders of the bottles. Folded in between the bottles are wall pieces and gusset areas which guarantee the bottle carrier sufficient rigidity and thus a firm hold of the bottles. <IMAGE>
