[origin: EP0257017A2] An air-conditioning device for installation in a wall, window or the like is provided with an air duct for the inside air, with internal inlet and outlet openings, as well as an air duct for the outside air, with external inlet and outlet openings. In each air duct there is a heat exchanger (16, 29) with blower (22, 31). The inlet opening for the inside air is provided with a constantly adjustable first flap (9) and, by means of a second constantly adjustable flap (10), outside air can be mixed in with the air to be ducted as inside air. By means of an adjustable third flap (36), inside air can be mixed in with the air to be ducted as outside air. The heat exchangers (16, 29) are connected via coolant lines, a restricting member (43) and a reversing valve (40) to a compressor (32) and can be operated optionally as an evaporator or a condenser for heating or cooling. An additional heating element (21) is provided in the air duct for the inside air. <IMAGE>
