The furnace has a furnace wall (1) and a material conveyor (4) and comprises, one after the other, a preheating zone (10), a firing zone (12) and a cooling zone (14). In the preheating zone (10) and the cooling zone (14), arranged in parallel, gases are blown in and sucked away. This takes place from the vertical furnace wall on the side of the cooling zone (14), by preheated air being fed to the furnace cross-section, with the consequence that the gases in the furnace cross-section are displaced transversely to the conveying direction of the material conveyor (4) from the side of the cooling zone (14) to the side of the preheating zone (10). From the vertical furnace wall on the side of the preheating zone (10), the air and vapours are sucked away from the furnace cross-section. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Ein Verfahren zum Betrieb eines Umkehr-Emaillierofens mit einer Ofenwandung (1) und einem Gutsförderer (4) weist nacheinander eine Vorwärmzone (10), eine Brennzone (12) und eine Abkühlzone (14) auf, wobei in der Vorwärmzone (10) und der parallel angeordneten Abkühlzone (14) Gase eingeblasen und abgesaugt werden. Dies geschieht von der senkrechten Ofenwandung her auf der Seite der Abkühlzone (14), indem vorgewärmte Luft dem Ofenquerschnitt zugeführt und damit die Ofenquerschnitt befindlichen Gase quer zur Förderrichtung des Gutsförderers (4) von der Seite der Abkühlzone (14) auf die Seite der Vorwärmzone (10) verdrängt werden. Von der senkrechten Ofenwandung her auf der Seite der Vorwärmzone (10) werden die Luft und die Brüden aus dem Ofenquerschnitt abgesaugt.
