[origin: EP0257545A2] A thermoplastic adhesive is applied to at least one side of the paper to form sticky areas and, after the paper has been printed, is activated by heating and the sheet of paper is adhered together at predetermined points by application of pressure. To simplify mass production of paper products to be printed and to give the user many options for applying the final sticky areas, it is proposed that the thermoplastic adhesive be applied uniformly and finely to the entire surface of the paper in an amount of less than 50 g/m<2> and that individual predetermined sticky areas are not formed by heating and pressing until after the steps of printing, copying or the like.
