[origin: US4781301A] The present invention relates to a process of fabrication of drum bodies having rolling hoops, and the drum bodies so produced. The drum body is provided with a plurality of corrugations generally offset towards the center of the drum with the peaks of the corrugations in line with the undeformed part of the drum. At least one of the peaks of the corrugations is then expanded radially outwardly to make a rolling hoop.
