1. Projectile for ammunition which may be shooted by a weapon of small or medium calibre and in particular by a sporting gun, the projectile consisting of a sub-calibrated bullet (4) comprising a bullet body (7) and stabilizer fins (6) and propelled by a launcher (5) at the calibre of the weapon, characterized in that the bullet-launcher connection is provided through the agency of a sheath (11) in extension of the fins, said bullet body consisting of several part (8, 9) extending lengthwise and adapted to part upon the impact after the bursting of the said sheath.

Le secteur technique de l'invention est celui des projectiles constitués par une balle sous-calibrée munie d'un empennage stabilisateur et propulsée par un lanceur constitué d'un ou plusieurs éléments séparables. La caractéristique de cette invention réside dans le fait que la liaison balle (4) - lanceur (5) est assurée par l'intermédiaire d'une gaine (11) prolongeant l'empennage (6), ladite balle étant constituée par plusieurs parties (8, 9) s'étendant longitudinalement et destinées à se séparer lors de l'impact après éclatement de ladite gaine. Application aux munitions de petit ou moyen calibre et plus particulièrement aux munitions de chasse.
