1. Expandable jointing element for producing joints in overground building construction and intended to remain in the joint gap, characterised in that it consists of at least three layers (1, 5), of which the two outer layers (1) are made of rigid sheet material which has a textured surface (2) on the side facing the joint and a smooth surface (3) on the side facing the adjacent inner layer or layers (5, 7), and in that at least one of the interposed layers (5) is a sheet of elastic, closed-pored foam material with low resistance to crushing, the individual layers being bonded together (4).

Ein Dehnfugenelement besteht mindestens aus zwei äusseren Lagen (1) aus Hartfaserplatten (2) und einer dazwischen liegenden Schaumstoffplatte (5) mit geringer Stauchhärte. Die einzelnen Lagen (1,5) sind mittels Klebstoff (4) miteinander verbunden. Damit möglichst wenig Klebstoff (4) benötigt wird, sind die an der Schaumstoffplatte (5) angrenzenden Flächen (3) der äusseren Lagen (1) glatt. Hingegen sind die äusseren Flächen (2) dieser Schichten (1) strukturiert um eine gute Verbindung mit dem Beton zu bewirken. Das Dehnfugenelement ist für den Hochbau konzipiert, kann die Dehn- und Schwundbewegungen aufnehmen und hat vorzügliche wärme- und schalldämmende Wirkung.
