[origin: DE3601699A1] A conveyor for workpieces, in particular for workpiece carriers, comprises two parallel transporting rails (1, 2) and a cross-belt (3) arranged between these two. To allow the transfer of a workpiece carrier from a transporting rail (1) to the cross-belt (3), the carrier frame (14, 15, 16, 17) of the latter crosses the inner roller system (10, 11) of the transporting rails (1, 2) and bridges the clearance between the roller systems (10, 11) and the belt conveyors (4, 5) of both transporting rails. The cross-belt (3) is linked to two hub devices (25, 26) which can be driven independently of each other and which allow setting of the cross-belt (3) at various different vertical positions in relation to the transport rails (1, 2).

Un transporteur de pièces à usiner, en particulier de porte-pièces, comprend deux rails de transport (1, 2) parallèles et une bande transversale (3) agencée entre les deux rails. Pour transférer un porte-pièce d'un rail de transport (1) à la bande transversale (3), le cadre de support (14, 15, 16, 17) de cette dernière passe sur le système intérieur de rouleaux (10, 11) des rails de transport (1, 2) et traverse l'espace libre entre les systèmes de rouleaux (10, 11) et les bandes convoyeuses (4, 5) des deux rails de transport. La bande transversale (3) est reliée à deux dispositifs de moyeu (25, 26) actionnables indépendamment l'un de l'autre qui permettent de placer la bande transversale (3) à différentes positions verticales par rapport aux rails de transport (1, 2).
