[origin: GB2185510A] The railway level crossing panel (10) comprising polyester concrete, coffers or recesses (14) in the underside of the panel and reinforcing rods (22, 24) in the upper surface, in the ribs (20) defined by the recesses (14) and in lateral projections (12) from two opposed edges of the panel. The lateral projections (12) fit into hard rubber wedges which themselves engage side flanks of the rails of the railway or railroad.

Plate-forme (10) pour traverser à niveau la voie ferrée, composée de béton contenant du polyester et présentant des caissons ou des évidements (14) sur son côté inférieur et des tiges de renforcement (22, 24) sur sa surface supérieure, dont les nervures (20) définies par les évidements (14) et dans les éléments latéraux (12) saillant sur les deux bords opposés de la plate-forme. Ces éléments saillants latéraux (12) s'adaptent dans des cales en caoutchouc dur qui s'engagent à leur tour dans les flancs latéraux des rails de la voie ferrée.
