The invention relates to a supporting roll for a belt conveyor, consisting of a hollow-cylindrical roll casing (1) which is connected at each of its two ends to a roll base (2), and a stationarily supportable shaft (12) on which the roll bases (2) are mounted by means of lubricant-filled and -sealed ball bearings. For cost-effective production, each roll base (2) forms with the ball bearing and with sealing fittings (7, 10) a preassembled subassembly with a closed lubricant chamber.

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Tragrolle für einen Gurtförderer, bestehend aus einem hohlzylindrischen Rollenmantel (1), der an beiden Enden mit je einem Rollenboden (2) verbunden ist, und einer stationär abstützbaren Achse (12), auf der die Rollenböden (2) mittels schmiermittelgefüllter und -abgedichteter Kugellager gelagert sind. Zwecks Rationalisierung der Fertigung ist vorgesehen, daß jeder Rollenboden (2) mit dem Kugellager und mit Dichtungsgarnituren (7, 10) eine vormontierte Baugruppe mit einer geschlossenen Schmiermittelkammer bildet.
