[origin: EP0258573A2] The portable packing bag (1) has an approximately rectangular front and rear surface part (9, 10) in each case which are connected laterally by side parts and in the top region by a folding lid part (4), the latter being provided with raised edges and there being a lower-lying trough (4') formed around a small part of the overall height of the packing bag. Provided in the top region of the packing bag (1) is a handle (2) which consists of two essentially identical parts (14, 15), the ends (3, 3') of which parts are attached to the opposite insides of the raised edges (8) of the trough (4') formed by the folding lid part (4).
