[origin: EP0258610A2] The slats of a roller shutter having a rolling-up device are guided in two vertical guide rails and mounted rotatably about pivots which protrude on the end face by means of a common swivel drive (7). The latter comprises, per pivot, a toothed wheel (11), a chain (12) which engages jointly with all the toothed wheels (11), and an outer actuating device (30). A drive for adjusting the guide rail between the roller shutter position and the blind position is coupled to the swivel drive (7) in a sequential control. Thus, the swivel drive (7) on the one hand is blocked during the adjustment of the guide rail and in the roller shutter position thereof, and on the other hand the adjusting drive is blocked during the swivelling of the slats. <IMAGE>
