So that a wing (6) of a window or door, at least rotatable, but preferably rotatable and tiltable, can be made more "sluggish" during rotation, a braking device is inserted between the fixed frame (1) and the wing (6). It consists essentially of a basic part (2, 3) and of a wing part (4, 5), the latter being fastened to the wing and the former to the fixed frame (1). A braking device, whose effect can be varied and therefore adjusted by means of a tension device (27, 28), especially with brake discs (25, 26, 32, 34, 38), improves the braking effect. So that the wing can also be tilted in spite of this braking device and to ensure that no special measures or actions are needed for this, there is a plug connection which consists of a peg (8, 11) of the part fastened to one frame and of a receptacle (9, 10), interacting therewith, of the part to be fastened to the other frame. <IMAGE>

Um einen wenigstens drehbaren, vorzugsweise aber einen dreh- und kippbaren Flügel (6) eines Fensters oder einer Tür beim Drehen "schwergängiger" machen zu können, wird zwischen den festen Rahmen (1) und den Flügel (6) eine Bremsvorrichtung geschaltet. Sie besteht im wesentlichen aus einem Grundteil (2, 3) und einem Flügelteil (4, 5), wobei letzteres gemäß der Bezeichnung am Flügel und ersteres am festen Rahmen (1) befestigt wird. Eine über eine Spannvorrichtung (27, 28) in ihrer Wirkung veränder- und damit einstellbare Bremsvorrichtung, insbesondere mit Bremsscheiben (25, 26, 32, 34, 38), verbessert die Bremswirkung. Damit der Flügel trotz dieser Bremsvorrichtung auch gekippt werden kann und hierzu keine besonderen Maßnahmen oder Tätigkeiten erforderlich sind, ist eine Steckverbindung vorgesehen, die aus einem Zapfen (8, 11) des am einen Rahmen befestigten Teils und einer damit zusammenwirkenden Aufnahme (9, 10) des am anderen Rahmen anzuschlagenden Teils besteht.
