Abstract (en)
In order to increase the abrasion volume of the bottom layer of a twin-layered paper-making machine wire, in each case two weft threads 2 are assigned to the top layer and one weft thread 3, formed with a greater diameter is assigned to the bottom layer. The thickness of the bottom weft threads 3 can be 50 - 100% greater than that of the upper weft threads 2, the diameter of which approximates to that of the warp thread 1. <IMAGE>

Um bei einem zweilagigen Papiermaschinensieb das Abriebvolumen der unteren Lage zu erhöhen, sind jeweils zwei Schußfäden 2 der oberen Lage, ein mit einem stärkeren Durchmesser ausgebildeter Schußfaden 3 der unteren Lage zugeordnet. Die Stärke der unteren Schußfäden 3 kann dabei um 50 bis 100 % größer sein als die der oberen Schußfäden 2, deren Durchmesser etwa in der Größenordnung des Kettfadens 1 liegt.
