[origin: EP0259664A2] The umbrella handle has a carrying loop (4) which crosses the handle cross-section and is held by a clamping effect. To achieve a simple and durable attachment which is not restricted to particular cross-sections, it is proposed that the clamping effect is achieved by a clamping piece which is inserted with positive fit into an undercut groove of the umbrella handle (G). <IMAGE>
