Abstract (en)
For propellant cartridge cases coated with nitramines and a binder, the coating is applied in the form of a paint, for example in a solvent. The cases can mainly be combustible projectile cartridges. As a result of this coating, these cases have a higher self-ignition temperature and their mechanical properties, such as tensile strength, shock resistance and impact resistance, are improved.

Die vorliegende Erfindung behandelt Treibladungsbehälter, die mit einer Beschichtung aus Nitraminen und einem Bindemittel versehen sind. Diese Beschichtung wird in Form eines Lackes, ggf. in einem Lösungsmittel gelöst, aufgebracht. Als Behälter kommen hauptsächlich verbrennbare Geschoßhülsen in Betracht. Infolge dieser Beschichtung besitzen diese Behälter eine erhöhte Selbstentzündungstemperatur, und ihre mechanischen Eigenschaften, wie Reiß-, Stoß- und Schlagfestigkeit, werden verbessert.
