[origin: EP0260565A2] The refuse receptacle (2) is removably suspended on a front panel (1a) of the furniture corpus (1) and projects with a lower part through a cutout (1e) in the corpus bottom (1b) into the base cavity (20c). A large refuse-receiving volume of the receptacle is achieved by using the base cavity (20c). The front panel (1a) is connected to the bottom of the end face of the corpus bottom (1b) so that it can be tilted forwards in a limited manner. The filling aperture (6) of the receptacle (2) in its open position lies approximately in a horizontal plane. This facilitates the filling of the receptacle (2). The front wall (3) of the receptacle (2) has an upper holding strip (3a) which permits one-handed removal and carrying of the receptacle. <IMAGE>
