Abstract (en)
An agitator mill has a separating device (36), which allows treated grist (16) to emerge from a milling chamber (12), but retains grinding medium (14). The separating device (36) is mounted on a rotary- drivable tubular section (32) which is open at one end (42) for an axial inflow of grist (16) and grinding medium (14). The inner wall (40) of the tubular section (32) widens conically and generates an enveloping flow (46) which in the tubular section (32) extends around the central axial inflow (44) of grinding medium (14) and grist (16), runs in the opposite direction to the latter and consists predominantly of grinding medium (14). On the same axis as the rotary- drivable tubular section (32) is a grinding medium inlet (56) which is connected to a storage vessel (60) filled with grinding medium (14). The rotating tubular section (32) propels grinding medium (14) out of the grinding medium inlet (56) into the milling chamber (12). <IMAGE>

Eine Rührwerksmühle hat eine Trennvorrichtung (36), die behandeltes Mahlgut (16) aus einem Mahlraum (12) austreten läßt, Mahlkörper (14) jedoch zurückhält. Die Trennvorrichtung (36) ist an einem drehantreibbaren Rohrstück (32) angeordnet, das an einer Stirnseite (42) für einen axialen Zustrom von Mahlgut (16) und Mahlkörpern (14) offen ist. Die Innenwand (40) des Rohrstücks (32) erweitert sich kegelförmig und erzeugt einen Mantelstrom (46), der sich im Rohrstück (32) rings um den zentralen axialen Zustrom (44) von Mahlkörpern (14) und Mahlgut (16) erstreckt, diesem entgegengerichtet ist und vorwiegend aus Mahlkörpern (14) besteht. Gleichachsig mit dem drehantreibbaren Rohrstück (32) ist ein Mahlkörpereinlaß (56) angeordnet, der an einen mit Mahlkörpern (14) gefüllten Vorratsbehälter (60) angeschlossen ist. Das rotierende Rohrstück (32) schleudert Mahlkörper (14) aus dem Mahlkörpereinlaß (56) in den Mahlraum (12).
