An activatable hatch cover seal comprising an inflatable and evacuable hose on the hatch cover and an abutment-rib fastened to the coaming is distinguished by the fact that a flexible sealing strip of an oil-resistant material seals the hose liquid-impermeably. Arranged in parallel with this seal there is preferably a second seal, which may be a flexible solid seal, and with the first seal closes off a space which on the one hand can be used as a testing space and on the other hand from which seepage can be drained away. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Eine aktivierbare Lukendeckeldichtung aus einem aufblasbaren bzw. evakuierbaren Schlauch am Lukendeckel und einer am Süll befestigten Widerlager-Rippe zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß eine flexible Dichtleiste aus einem ölresistenten Werkstoff den Schlauch flüssigkeitsundurchlässig abdichtet. Vorzugsweise ist parallel zu dieser Dichtung eine zweite Dichtung angeordnet, die eine elastische Feststoffdichtung sein kann und mit der ersten Dichtung einen Raum abschließt, welcher einerseits als Prüfraum nutzbar ist, und aus dem andererseits Leckflüssigkeit abgeführt werden kann.
