In this guiding system, guidance information from guide beacons is transmitted to all passing vehicles, is compared in the vehicles with the selected target point in each case and displayed in the vehicle to show the correct position during the journey. For transmitting the guidance information, all points with the same guidance information are brought together into a target area and transmitted together with the associated guidance information. The target areas are formed from target segments (ZSl, ZS2, ZS3; ZSll, ZS12, ZS101), which in each case are defined by irregular polygons, particularly quadrilaterals, on the basis of geographical boundary areas and are arranged in a number of hierarchical levels. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Bei dem Leitsystem werden Leitinformationen von Leitbaken an alle passierenden Fahrzeuge übermittelt, in den Fahrzeugen mit dem jeweils gewählten Zielpunkt verglichen und positionsgerecht während der Fahrt im Fahrzeug angezeigt. Für die Übermittlung der Leitinformationen werden alle Punkte mit gleicher Leitinformation zu einer Zielfläche zusammengefaßt und zusammen mit der zugehörigen Leitinformation übertragen. Die Zielflächen werden aus Zielsegmenten (ZS1, ZS2, ZS3; ZS11, ZS12, ZS101) gebildet, welche jeweils durch unregelmäßige Vielecke, insbesondere Vierecke, in Anlehnung an geographische Grenzflächen und in mehreren Hierarchiestufen festgelegt sind.
