[origin: EP0261581A2] The vacuum cleaner has a rigid suction pipe (2) which is connected to the vacuum cleaner housing (4) via a relatively long, flexible hose. The arrangement system allows the suction pipe (2) to be attached to the vacuum cleaner housing (4) in the position of rest of the vacuum cleaner. It consists of a profile rail, the plate (12) of which is attached to the vacuum cleaner housing (4) and which has an elongate holding strip (9) which projects in cross-section in mushroom shape, and a fastening part which is seated with a bush (5) on the suction pipe (2). Moulded onto the bush are two elongate, cross- sectionally L-shaped, mutually facing limbs (6) which can grip behind the holding strip (9). <IMAGE>
