[origin: US4877552A] Corrosion inhibitors comprising (a) an imidazoline of the formula I <IMAGE> (I) in which R1 is hydrogen, C1-C6-hydroxyalkyl, C1-C6-aminoalkyl or C2-C19-carboxyalky or an ammonium or amine salt thereof and R2 is hydrogen, C1-C17-alkyl or C2-C17-alkenyl, (b) a heterocyclic polyacid of the formula II <IMAGE> (II) in which R3 is C2-C6-carboxyalkyl or an alkali metal, alkaline earth metal, ammonium or amine salt thereof, (c) at least one alkanolamine of the formula III <IMAGE> (III) in which R4 is C1-C6-hydroxyalkyl and R5 and R6, which can be identical or different, are hydrogen, C1-C6-alkyl or C1-C6-hydroxyalkyl, and (d) water are outstandingly suitable for the corrosion-inhibiting treatment of shaped iron and steel parts.

Korrosionsschutzmittel enthaltend a) ein Imidazolin der Formel I, <IMAGE> worin R¹ Wasserstoff, C1-C6-Hydroxyalkyl, C1-C6-Aminoalkyl, C2-C19-Carboxyalkyl oder dessen Ammonium- oder Aminsalze und R² Wasserstoff, C1-C17-Alkyl oder C2-C17-Alkenyl bedeuten, b) eine heterocyclische Polysäure der Formel II, <IMAGE> worin R³ C2-C6-Carboxyalkyl oder dessen Alkali-, Erdalkali-, Ammonium- oder Aminsalze bedeutet, c) mindestens ein Alkanolamin der Formel III, <IMAGE> worin R<4> C1-C6-Hydroxyalkyl bedeutet und R<5> und R<6> gleich oder verschieden sind und Wasserstoff, C1-C6-Alkyl oder C1-C6-Hydroxyalkyl bedeuten, und d) Wasser eignen sich hervorragend zur korrosionsinhibierenden Behandlung von Eisen- und Stahlformstücken.
