Apparatus for entangling a plurality of bundles of filament material, comprising a pair of blocks (12, 14) forming, by virtue of grooves (30U, 30L) situated in congruence in each individual block, at least one yarn duct (32) connected through one or more openings (36U, 36L, 34U, 34L) to a source of fluid pressure, one of the blocks being stationary and the other block being pivotable thereto, so that the grooves (30U, 30L) arranged in the parting plane (40) of the blocks can be opened and closed to form the yarn duct (32), wherein each block (12, 14) comprises a base portion (12B, 14B) and a head portion (12A, 14A) detachably attached thereto, the head portion being provided with the grooves (30U or 30L) with the fluid openings (36U, 34U or 36L, 34L) and a fluid distributor channel (42U or 42L) connected thereto and the base portion being provided with at least one feed channel (43) which connects the distributor channel to a connection part (48U or 48L).
