[origin: WO8706213A1] In a liquid container of the type comprising a base and side walls (e.g. 33) a cover is provided with projecting ribs facing the liquid surface to dampen surface movements in the liquid, and to obtain great rigidity against said liquid movements, an effective coupling of the parts of the container as well as easy mounting of the cover, the sides perpendicular to said ribs are provided with lock-fittings (25, 26, 29 and 30) which are adapted not only to fix the cover against movements upwardly with respect to the side walls, but also to fix these against upward movements transverse to the plane of the side walls.
