In the case of an oil pump, which comprises a feed pump, a series of valves, an output line and a burner nozzle connected to the latter, there is a displacement piston connected to the output line, preferably close to the burner nozzle, which piston is displaced in a cylinder when the oil pump is switched off and consequently creates an inner space in which the oil is sucked out of the output line and the burner nozzle. When operation is commenced, the piston moves back again and forces the oil out of the inner space into the output line, so that the latter is then already filled with oil when pressure is applied, so that a steeper pressure increase occurs at the burner nozzle than was possible previously in the case of oil burners with oil scavenging. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Bei einer Ölbrenneranlage, die aus einer Förderpumpe (1), einer Reihe von Ventilen (5, 10), einer Endleitung (21) und einer an dieser angeschlossenen Brennerdüse (22) besteht, ist mit der Endleitung vorzugsweise nahe der Brennerdüse ein Verdrängungskolben (17) verbunden, der bei Abschalten der Ölpumpe in einer Zylinderbohrung (11) verschoben wird und somit einen Innenraum (20) herstellt, in welchem das Öl aus der Endleitung und der Brennerdüse abgesaugt wird. Bei Betriebsaufnahme bewegt sich der Kolben wieder zurück und verdrängt das Öl aus dem Innenraum in die Endleitung, so daß diese dann bei Druckbeaufschlagung bereits mit Öl gefüllt ist, so daß an der Brennerdüse ein steilerer Druckanstieg erfolgt, als dies bisher bei Ölbrennern mit Ölabsaugung möglich war.
