Abstract (en)
The process is intended for producing mass components by conventional sintering technology and without additional hardening treatment, which are equivalent to hard castings with respect to their wear properties. They should have a surface hardness of about 50 Rockwell and only slight shrinkage. This is achieved by means of a sintered iron-nickel-copper-molybdenum alloy with added phosphorus, which has a carbon content of at least twice the added phosphorus. Essentially, its composition is as follows: 1.0-5.0% by weight of nickel (Ni) 1.0-3.0% by weight of copper (Cu) 0.3-1.0% by weight of molybdenum (Mo) 0.3-0.6% by weight of phosphorus (P) 1.0-2,5% by weight of carbon (C), remainder: iron (Fe).

Es soll ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer hochverschließfesten Sinterlegierung geschaffen werden, mit welcher in herkömmlicher Sintertechnik und ohne zusätzliche Härtebehandlung Massenteile erzeugt werden können, die hinsichtlich ihrer Verschließeigenschaft Hartgußteilen gleichwertig sind. Sie sollen eine Oberflächenhärte von ca. 50 Rockwell und nur eine geringe Schrumpfung aufweisen. Dies wird mit einer Eisen-Nickel-Kupfer-Molybdän-Sinterlegierung mit Phosphorzusatz erreicht, die einen den Phosphorzusatz mindestens um das Doppelte überwiegenden Kohlenstoffanteil enthält. Im wesentlichen weist sie folgende Zusammensetzung auf: 1,0 - 5,0 Gew.-Prozent Nickel (Ni) 1,0 - 3,0 Gew.-Prozent Kupfer (Cu) 0,3 - 1,0 Gew.-Prozent Molybdän (Mo) 0,3 - 0,6 Gew.-Prozent Phosphor (P) 1,0 - 2,5 Gew.-Prozent Kohlenstoff (C) Rest: Eisen (Fe)
