[origin: WO8703840A1] To line the internal surface of a pipe (6) such as a water, gas or drain pipe an inner plastics semi-rigid lining (1) is collapsed and retained in collapsed condition by a tearable strap (2). The collapsed state of the lining (1) being of a lesser maximum diameter than the underformed lining (1) so that it can readily fit within and along pipe (6). Severing of the strap (2) allows the lining (1) to resiliently expand to its original shape and closely fit the internal wall of the pipe (6).

Afin de garnir la surface intérieure d'une conduite (6), telle qu'une conduite d'eau, une conduite de gaz ou une conduite de drainage, une garniture intérieure (1) en plastique semi-rigide est repliée et maintenue dans sa position repliée par une bande (2) se déchirant facilement. La garniture repliée (1) a un diamètre maximum inférieur à celui de la garniture (1) dans son état original, de telle sorte qu'elle peut s'adapter facilement à l'intérieur et le long de la conduite (6). Le retrait de la bande (2) permet à la garniture (1) de s'étendre de façon élastique pour retrouver sa forme originale et de s'adapter étroitement à la paroi intérieure de la conduite (6).
