[origin: EP0263999A2] The invention relates to a supporting console (52) for supporting a keyboard, particularly for ADP installations. Page holding elements (56) are allocated to the supporting console (52), which page holding elements can be locked between an out-of-use position lying essentially in the plane of the supporting console surface and a raised in-use position. The page holding elements can be pivoted about two pivoting joints (60) located in the surface of the supporting console, said joints being preferably designed as film hinges, and can be supported by supporting elements (62) in the in-use position. The page holding elements (56) and the supporting elements are flush with the supporting console surface in their out-of-use position, so that this can be used for holding a keyboard.
