[origin: EP0264100A2] The cap-type blow-off bottle closure with or without internal thread and preferably having a circular sealing insert is characterised in that at least one recess is arranged in the edge region of the sealing insert. In this case, the internal thread of the bottle closure can be rolled onto the external thread of a bottle neck. The recess preferably consists of an incision. Furthermore, three recesses, each offset by 120 DEG may be arranged in the edge region of the sealing insert. The sealing insert can consist of an inserted and possibly bonded-in disc or of an injected, cast-in or impressed sealing mass. The bottle closure may be connected via tear-off webs to a tamper-proof ring which is known per se. Perforations may be arranged in the circumferential shell. <IMAGE>
